I think if this was Vixen's standard, and taking into consideration the lighter weight of the OTAs with handles, portability, and less dew problems they could very well have a hit on their hands, and amateur astronomers would flock to buy both the VMC200L and the VMC260L telescopes for visual and astro photography. Just as importantly, smooth optics, and PV 1/5th wave out the eyepiece would give Vixen the edge over the competition when it comes to compound telescopes. The VMC260L, and for that matter the VMC200L could very well become popular telescopes if they did the following: Curved-Vane spiders like the Russian Klevtsov design, cooling vents in the back end of the telescope to include the Temptest fans, and finally, a 2" Baader Click-Lock for your favorite 2" diagonal. ![]() ![]() That is a long delay for the Edge HD 11 reducer. ![]()
